The James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, FL is seeking an exceptional Urologist specializing in Urologic Oncology to join our nationally recognized, academically active service.
This role focuses on treating genitourinary cancers, performing advanced laparoscopic and robotic procedures, and leading cancer research in a veteran-centered, collaborative environment. Qualifications
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Urology with advanced fellowship training in urologic oncology.
- Demonstrated expertise in complex laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
- Strong interest in academic medicine and cancer research.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for genitourinary malignancies.
- Perform advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures.
- Lead and participate in urologic oncology research and develop an independent program.
- Teach and mentor residents and medical students in an academic setting.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary cancer teams to deliver evidence-based care.
