Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Urogynecology team in a full-time ambulatory setting. You will support physicians and APPs, collect patients’ data, prepare for examinations, and document care in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved program or at least one year of verifiable MA work experience.
• Maintains current BLS certification and CMA/CCMA/CMAC/NCMA/NRCMA/NRCAMA/ RMA certifications or registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Gathers patient data through interview and observation.
• Assists patients and families with preparations for examinations.
• Assists physician or APP during examinations and procedures.
• Documents patient data, treatments, and education in the electronic medical record.
