Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for an ambulatory care setting in the Tampa area. The role supports physicians and APPs in examinations and procedures, with data gathering, patient preparation, and documentation.

The position requires MA training, BLS, and MA certification within 6 months of hire. The department is Urology, with a schedule Mon-Thu 8am-5pm and Fri 8am-4pm.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Medical Assistant training from an approved technical school or verifiable patient-care experience.
• Maintains current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• If hired after Jan 1, 2015, maintains current MA certification from one of the listed agencies within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation.
• Assists patients and families with preparation for examination.
• Assists physician or APP during examination and procedures.
• Documents patient data, treatments, and education.
• Manages scheduling and coordination for specialty testing and consultations.

Educación

Medical Assistant training (approved technical school)

American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider

Credentialing within 6 months: CCMA, CMA, CMAC, NCMA, NRCMA, NRCAMA, RMA (AMT/AMT/ARMA)
