Arizona Urology Specialists in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Urodynamist to perform diagnostic testing of lower urinary tract function and support patient care.

Responsibilities include prep of exam rooms, obtaining vitals, performing urodynamics, documenting in EMR, and assisting with post-op follow-ups; travel to other sites up to two times weekly.

Ideal candidates have at least five years of medical assisting, valid LPN license in Arizona (RN preferred), and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of medical assistance experience.
• Arizona LPN licensure required; RN preferred.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification is a plus.
• Two years of Urology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and maintain sterilization protocols.
• Take vital signs and obtain urine specimens; perform dip and automated analyses.
• Provide diagnostic urodynamics testing and assess symptoms.
• Ensure accurate EMR documentation and consents.
• Handle post-op follow-up calls and coordinate supplies.

At Arizona Urology Specialists, you'll find more than a job, you'll find a rewarding career with purpose.**Job Description:**The **Urodynamist** is responsible for the testing and analysis of the functional disorders of the lower urinary tract, i.e., the bladder and the urethra.**Primary Duties & Responsibilities:*** Prepares exam room in the clinical area for daily patient care, adhering to sterilization and disinfection practices throughout the facility.* Directs patients to exam rooms, taking the required vital signs and obtaining urine specimens; performs dip and automated urinalyses and microscopic exams when indicated at the end.* Provide diagnostic urodynamics testing for patients, including accurate measurement of their urinary flow and residual urine volumes and assessment of their symptoms.* Ensure completion of consents and required accurate documentation in EMR.* Responsible for follow-up post-op phone calls to patients.* Coordinate the inventory and control of all clinical supplies with the Nurse Manager. Maintains established PAR levels; ordering of supplies is timely and relative to the site budget.
