Urodynamic Licensed Practical Nurse LPN Clinic

Stillwater Urology Specialists is seeking an LPN to join as a "Urodynamic LPN." A "Urodynamic LPN" is a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in assisting with urodynamic testing, including patient preparation, operating urodynamic equipment, data collection, and patient education on bladder function and urinary issues, all under healthcare provider supervision. Key responsibilities include patient intake, vital signs, catheter insertion, data recording, and equipment management during urodynamic studies.

We Are Looking For An LPN Who:
  • Knows how to perform comprehensive Urodynamics, Video Urodynamics, and other advanced diagnostics.
  • Has Urology experience.
  • Has knowledge of lower urinary tract, anorectal anatomy, urodynamic procedures & equipment, and catheterization skills (a major plus!).
  • Can explain urodynamic procedures to patients.
  • Can set up and calibrate urodynamic machines, ensuring proper functionality of equipment.
  • Can record urodynamic parameters like bladder pressure, flow rate, and sphincter activity during tests.

Position Details:
  • Full-time, 40 hours/week
  • Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm
Job Summary:

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting under RN or physician supervision. Communicates with healthcare team about patient conditions, completes documentation, and may coordinate appointments and gather patient information. Ensures clinic efficiency and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Oklahoma LPN license
  • Effective communication skills
  • Previous clinical experience preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Current CPR certification or within 30 days of hire
Physical Requirements:
  • Adequate vision, hearing, and ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs., reaching, and fine motor skills.
