JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Job Title:Medical Center Security Officer

Starting Rate:$21.00/hour (Marlborough, MA)

Shift:2nd and 3rd Shifts Available

***Part time available***

***Weekend Availability Preferred***

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to client facilities.
  • Perform regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of assigned areas.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical, fire, and other incidents.
  • Enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
  • Conduct inspections and maintain equipment as required.
  • Assist in risk assessments and proactive measures to enhance security.
  • Conduct guided tours of the hospital facilities for new employees, visitors, and dignitaries.
  • Manage incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and directing inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Monitor CCTV feeds continuously to ensure the safety and security of hospital premises.
  • Assist with transportation of deceased individuals to the morgue as directed by supervisors.
  • Provide necessary support for helicopter landings and takeoffs during medical emergencies.
  • Utilize advanced de-escalation techniques to manage potentially volatile situations without escalating conflict.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • High level of professionalism

  • Moderate level of computer knowledge needed
