Right at Home Langhorne is seeking Experienced Home Health Aides to provide compassionate in-home care in Bristol, PA and surrounding areas. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, with weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional home care experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• TB test within the past year or Chest X-ray within the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.
• Light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Primarily work in the client's residence, travel is required; shifts vary by client needs; may work with Hospice patients.

Job Description:

Pay Rate $15.00 - $17.00 per hour plus weekend pay differential

Shifts: ALL SHIFTS- 4-12 hours long - in need of Days

Location: Bristol, PA and surrounding areas

Responsibilities of the Home Health Aide for Elderly

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.
• Responsibilities may include light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and running errands, companionship, and assistance with personal care services such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Primarily work in the client's place of residence.
• Travel is required.
• Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.
• Be willing to work with Hospice patients
• Alzheimer's and Dementia Experience a plus

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license, insured automobile, and personal transportation
• Minimum 1 years of professional home care experience
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick
• Enjoy spending time with seniors!
• TB test- PPD or QuantiFERON (both within the past year) or Chest X-ray (within the past 5 years)
