Right at Home in Langhorne, PA is hiring an Experienced Home Health Aide to provide compassionate in-home care. Pay rate ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour with a weekend differential. Shifts include evenings; location covers Langhorne, PA and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional home care experience.
• Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and personal transportation.
• High school graduate or GED certificate required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
• Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick.
• Enjoy spending time with seniors!
• TB test - PPD or QuantiFERON (within the past year) or Chest X-ray (within past 5 years).

Responsibilities

• Caring for an ill, aging, or disabled person.
• Light housework, meal preparation, medication reminders, shopping and errands, companionship, and personal care services (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Primarily work in the client’s residence.
• Travel is required.
• Shift times, days and activities vary with client needs.
• Be willing to work with Hospice patients.
• Alzheimer’s and Dementia experience a plus.

Job Description:
