Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors Pittsburgh Northeast is seeking part-time caregivers to provide companionship and practical support to local seniors in Murrysville, Irwin, PA, and nearby areas. Shifts run Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with flexible days and lengths to fit your schedule.

Starting pay is $16 per hour, with mileage reimbursement, referral bonuses, and paid training. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required to serve clients within a 30‑minute radius.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Caregiving Experience
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance
• Pass a background check
• Current TB Test (Within the last 12 months)

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations.
• Assist with light household tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, social events, and errands.
• Offer a listening ear and emotional support.
• Participate in activities that promote mental and physical well‑being.
