Job Description

• You MUST answer ALL the screening questions and have a resume with ALL required certifications attached to be considered.

Position Details

• Urgent need for an 18-month assignment, starting in 4-6 weeks (end of June or beginning of July 2025). This position is employed by Mavec and assigned to a construction project.
• A background check is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the site-specific Health & Safety Plan.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Maintain safety documentation and incident reports.
• Coordinate with the Site Superintendent for site logistics safety.
• Interface with NYC DOB and third-party safety auditors.
• Enforce NYC safety standards and protocols.

Requirements:

• Current NYC DOB Site Safety Coordinator Certification or Site Safety Manager License.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification.
• NYC SST Card (62 hours).
• 3-5 years’ experience on NYC construction sites.
• In-depth knowledge of NYC construction safety regulations.
• Excellent recordkeeping and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the Bronx.
