Job summary

Orthopaedic & Neurosurgery Specialists (ONS) in Wilton, CT, seeks a per diem Physician Assistant to join its Urgent Ortho Care team. The PA will provide care at the Wilton location, with weekday evenings and Saturday shifts, and will assess and treat urgent musculoskeletal injuries, document history and exams, and support physicians.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, board certification, valid Connecticut PA license, DEA and CT CDS license, and at least one year in orthopedic or ER

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Board certification as Physician Assistant.
• Valid Connecticut PA license.
• DEA and CT CDS licenses.
• Minimum of one year orthopedic or ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat urgent musculoskeletal injuries.
• Perform and document H&P for walk-in patients.
• Order X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Provide wound care and post-op management.
• Assist physicians in urgent patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Counsel patients on diagnosis and follow-up.
