Job Description for the Regional Manager - Water Division

  1. Job Title: Regional Manager
  2. Department: Water Treatment
  3. Reports To: BU Head
  4. Job Description: Responsible for sales and establishing Business for Water Treatment

Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Thorough technical knowledge of Water treatment and ability to deal with external agencies confidently
  • Excellent connect with corporate customers and dealers for establishing Water Treatment business
  • Ability to appoint & manage dealers
  • Ability to strengthen sales infra as and when required
  • Thorough understanding and creating awareness about the company and technology
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Ability to introduce, guide and take-up trials with customers
  • Mapping markets and competition from customer & distributor perspective and proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities
  • Adapting products to end users process
  • Building Positive and professional Relationships with Customers/ Distributors/ HO
  • Good Communication Skills

Job requirements:

A successful candidate will have:

Qualification: BE/ B.Tech Chemical from a reputed institute.


Experience:

  • 7 -10 years essentially having worked in Techno sales with a reputed Water Treatment Company. Advantage - Additional experience of 2 3 years of having worked at Manager position handling corporate customers
  • Thorough knowledge of Water Treatment of various industries
  • Familiar with water treatment and waste management processes
  • Knowledge and experience in Cooling Water, Boiling Water, ETP, STP, Effluent Recycling system
  • Experience in testing various effluent parameters in water lab
  • Thorough understanding and experience in handling various chemicals used in Water Treatment
  • Experience in dealing with senior management team and key decision makers in various corporate mills across India
  • Experience in Lab to Plant Scale successful launch of various new applications
  • Good Communication Skills
