Position: IBM WebSphere MQSeries (MQ) Infrastructure Engineering

Location: Southfield, MI

Duration: 6-12 Months

Top 3 Skills

• Experience automating, configuring, installing MQ or other middleware
• Experience using monitoring tools to configure MQ e.g., Tivoli

Technical Skills

• Experience in installation and configuration of MQ or similar middleware products on Linux, AIX, Solaris, Windows Server and AS/400.
• Experience in automating the install/config of MQ or similar middleware products, using Linux, AIX, Solaris and Windows Server scripts.

Nice to have technical skills

• Experience in the development of applications that use MQ, using the standard MQ APIs (Connect, Open, Put, Get).
• Experience using Tivoli-Omegamon or similar enterprise monitoring tools, preferably to monitor and configure MQ.
