Mom is a dedicated nurse and a strong advocate for his care, ensuring he has the best possible life. The family has a fantastic support system, with grandpa even retiring to help with daytime care! They love spending time outdoors and plan to enjoy nature as soon as Jacob is ready. Their home is clean, welcoming, and full of love!

What They’re Looking For:

Night Shift Coverage – 7 Days a Week (Flexible on times!)
A nurse who will feel like part of the family
Someone kind, patient, and passionate about pediatric care
A non-smoker (absolutely no exceptions)
Female nurses only (per family request)
Comfortable with a dog in the home
Must be okay with cameras in the home for his safety

Responsibilities

• Perform duties outlined in patient's plan of care
• TBI + SCI rehabilitation
• Pediatrics
• Geriatrics
• Ventilator and Tracheotomy care (Training Provided)
• Gastrostomy tube care (Training Provided)
• Dispensing medications
• Observe client’s physical, mental and emotional conditions.
• Report any changes
• Document observed changes
• Communicates effectively with Clinical team to increase optimal outcomes
• Maintains professional nature within the home setting

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to utilize computers/tablets and computer software
• Current state license as an RN or LPN
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• CPR certified
