Job Description

We are seeking a kind, reliable, and patient female helper to support a 74-year-old woman who is largely independent but experiences balance and mobility difficulties. She uses a walker and may need a steady hand when walking or getting in and out of transportation.

Her family lives upstairs but has work and family responsibilities, so she would like support that allows her to remain independent and active without relying on them.

Care Responsibilities

• Provide mobility and walking support
• Assist with getting her walker on and off the bus
• Help her safely get in and out of Uber rides
• Accompany her to doctor's appointments
• Accompany her when visiting her husband at his facility
• Provide support when she goes out in the community
• Assist with light housekeeping in her small apartment
• Provide companionship and general assistance as needed

Schedule

• 3 days per week
• A few hours per visit
• Flexible schedule to be coordinated with the caregiver and client

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable assisting someone who uses a walker
