Job summary

Qualicare Home Care SF Bay Area is actively hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, one-on-one care in clients' homes within the SF Bay Area. The role offers flexible schedules, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive team environment.

We value caregivers who are dependable, trustworthy, and committed to helping clients live safely and independently at home. Training is provided, and daily interviews are conducted to find the best fit.

Qualifications

• HCA registration preferred; we can guide you through the process.
• Prior caregiving experience is preferred.
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray.
• Access to a mobile phone.
• Ability to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients on outings, shopping, and errands.
• Medication reminders (non-medical).
• Ambulation assistance and safe client transfers.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Complete required documentation and charting accurately.
