Job summary

Qualicare Home Care SF Bay Area in the Walnut Creek area is hiring caring professionals for flexible, hourly roles. You can earn $20–$23 per hour with paid training and a supportive team that includes mileage reimbursement and ongoing mentorship.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, companionship, errands, and accurate documentation. Preferred: HCA registration, valid CA driver's license, and access to a mobile phone. Travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties is required.

Qualifications

• Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred (If not registered, we can guide you through the process)
• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray
• Access to a mobile phone
• Ability to travel within Contra Costa and Alameda Counties
• Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients on outings, shopping, and errands
• Medication reminders (non-medical)
• Ambulation assistance and safe client transfers
• Follow individualized care plans
• Complete required documentation and charting accurately
