• Previous Home Health Aide Experience required, Training available

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients with personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care to support their ability to remain in their residence.

Essential Functions:

• Personal Care: Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercises, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheelchair), change of position, and toileting.
• Companion/Sitter/Household Management: Provide companionship and respite services for family.
• Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients.
• Support a woman in her 80s with night-time companionship and medication reminders every 4 hours; immediate assistance required.
• Night shift hours: 8 pm to 8 am on rotation 2-3 days/week.

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver's license and access to insured transportation.
• Negative TB Test.

Must be:

• Willing to keep the client active.
• Good communication skills.
• Possess a driver's license and car.
