Job summary

Sherwood Urgent Care in Batesville, AR is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team. You will perform x-ray testing, operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and assist with Medical Assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role requires AR State X-Ray License with ARRT certification preferred, BLS, and strong patient communication. Full-time rotating 36-40 hour weeks, with weekend coverage and PRN options; competitive salary and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• BLS Certification required
• AR State X-Ray License required
• ARRT Certification preferred
• Experience as a Medical Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room
• Communicate wait times and direct patients through treatment steps
• Provide solutions to patient problems and escalate urgency when needed
• Perform follow-up calls with a sense of urgency
• Assist front desk with patient check-in/out as needed
• Record vital signs, weight, and pertinent history accurately
• Assist with patient transfers and with procedures supervised by the provider
• Follow documentation procedures for patient visits and radiology procedures
• Maintain and report equipment malfunctions to Manager or on-duty provider
