Full time Urgent Care Veterinarian - Now Hiring + Amazing Salary + Great Schedules

A well-establishedpartner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their emergency and overnight veterinary clinic inO'Fallon, MO / St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree, be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Missouri, and have experience in an emergency veterinary setting.

Position Highlights:
  • Flexible Schedule with Swing/Second Shift opportunities.
  • ONLY Emergency Care – no wellness services.
  • No abdominal surgeries performed.

  • Modern, brand-new hospital with state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Strong technical team and clinical support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care to animals.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and procedures to assess and treat illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
  • Administer medications and treatments to patients in critical care.
  • Consult with clients to discuss diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
  • Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership to ensure optimal care.
  • Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
  • Contribute to the growth of support staff through mentorship and participation in the internal LevelUp training program.
Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active state license to practice in Missouri (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience in emergency medicine is preferred, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations and team collaboration.
