A well-established partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team in Providence, Greenville, or Smithfield, Rhode Island. Provide exceptional medical care to patients in urgent care settings
Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries
Administer treatments, medications, and perform surgeries (excluding abdominal)
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
Effectively communicate treatment plans with pet owners
Collaborate with your team to ensure seamless care delivery
DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited program (or ECFVG/PAVE equivalent)
Active or obtainable veterinary license in Rhode Island
Proven experience in urgent care or emergency settings preferred
Excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills
Compassionate and adaptable; able to work independently and collaboratively
Passionate about urgent veterinary care
Eager to grow professionally in a supportive and progressive clinic
Comfortable managing varied caseloads
Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
