Job summary

UrgentVet, Inc. is seeking a dedicated veterinarian to support after-hours urgent care in the Crestview/Austin, TX area. You will provide compassionate care for canine and feline patients in a paperless clinic equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house labs.

Role entails managing a flexible schedule and a mix of urgent cases, with opportunities for mentorship and collaboration with a strong technical team. A DVM/VMD and active state license are required.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state where employed (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Austin community
• Encourage the growth of support staff through internal LevelUp training
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours

Education
