Job summary

The Pet Clinic of Springfield Urgent Care in Springfield, Ohio, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated urgent care team. We offer a predictable 4:00 PM–10:00 PM schedule with no overnight shifts, a collaborative environment, and the chance to impact patient care in our community.

We treat urgent, non-life-threatening cases, provide after-hours care with a strong support team, and collaborate with local practices to ensure the right care at the right time.

Qualifications

• DVM degree or equivalent and Ohio license to practice.
• Interest in urgent care medicine with collaborative approach.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urgent care patients.
• Develop diagnostic and treatment plans tailored to each case.
• Perform wound management, laceration repair, abscess treatment, sedation, and soft tissue procedures.
• Interpret digital radiographs and in-house laboratory results.
• Communicate clearly with clients and coordinate with referring veterinarians.
• Collaborate with technicians to deliver efficient care.
• Help refine hospital protocols and support growth.
