A dynamic and modern partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team in Westford, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian passionate about emergency medicine, with a desire to make a meaningful impact in animal care.

  • No abdominal surgeries, allowing you to focus on urgent care and critical cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide urgent care for animals, diagnosing and treating illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
  • Perform surgeries as needed, focusing on urgent care rather than routine procedures.
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments for critical cases.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding their pets' care and health status.
Qualifications:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active license in good standing to practice in Massachusetts (or the ability to obtain).
  • Prior experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting is preferred, but all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring clear interaction with clients and team members.
