A partner hospital is seeking a full-time Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its dynamic team in Greenwood, IN. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with a passion for emergency medicine and a desire to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a DVM degree and experience in emergency or urgent care medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide urgent care services to animals in need of immediate medical attention.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other medical conditions.
  • Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and treatment plans.
Ideal Candidate:
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • 1-2 years of experience in emergency medicine is preferred, though new graduates with a passion for urgent care are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle multiple patients with varying priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a veterinary team.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional care in line with a Fear Free approach and a feline-friendly practice environment.
