UrgentVet in the Orlando, Florida area is seeking a dedicated veterinarian for after-hours urgent care. The position focuses on single-doctor shifts addressing common urgent cases such as wound management and infections, with a paperless clinic workflow and cloud-based EMR.

Qualifications

• DVM / VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license to practice in the state of employment (or ability to obtain).
• Experience with urgent care is a plus but not required.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Ocoee, Florida area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach

• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during our open hours
