Job summary

UrgentVet Hospitals in Coon Rapids, MN is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to deliver compassionate, high‑quality care during single‑doctor shifts, focusing on common urgent cases and clear client communication.

You will work with a strong clinical team, manage a variable caseload, and participate in LevelUp training, with paperless clinics, cloud EMR, IDEXX in‑house labs, and after‑hours coverage for a busy community.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license to practice in Minnesota (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in urgent care or emergency settings preferred.

Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Coon Rapids, MN area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
