Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton in Canton, CT seeks a Part Time Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide urgent veterinary care and collaborate with board-certified surgeons. Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent veterinary care for dogs and cats at Urgent Care setting.
• Collaborate with board-certified surgeons and support staff to deliver gold-standard care.
• Manage a varied caseload using in-house diagnostics, imaging, pharmacy, and lab services.

About Us

Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton has been serving pets and families in Canton since 2012. Located outside of Hartford and roughly halfway between New York City and Boston, our team offers urgent care alongside board certified surgical services. The hospital includes private exam rooms, a large treatment area, an ultrasound/radiology room, two surgery suites, and an in-house laboratory and pharmacy. We are open 7 days a week: 8am–12am Monday through Friday, and 8am–8pm Saturday and Sunday, with highly qualified nursing staff on site around the clock, every day of the year, including holidays.

• Provide urgent veterinary care for dogs and cats. Ability to treat small pets, reptiles, etc. open to discussion.
