Qualifications

About Us

Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton has been serving pets and families in Canton since 2012. Located outside of Hartford and roughly halfway between New York City and Boston, our team offers urgent care alongside board certified surgical services. The hospital includes private exam rooms, a large treatment area, an ultrasound/radiology room, two surgery suites, and an in-house laboratory and pharmacy. We are open 7 days a week: 8am–12am Monday through Friday, and 8am–8pm Saturday and Sunday, with highly qualified nursing staff on site around the clock, every day of the year, including holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Provide urgent veterinary care for dogs and cats. Ability to treat small pets, reptiles, etc. open to discussion.
• Collaborate with board certified surgeons and a skilled support team to provide gold standard care
• Manage a varied caseload using in-house diagnostics, imaging, pharmacy, and lab services
• Work within a team-driven environment that puts patient outcomes and client experience first
