Job summary

VCA Northview Animal Hospital Specialty Center is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join a team delivering high-quality care for dogs and cats. You will work with specialists and a talented staff to handle a diverse caseload, including emergency cases, in a hospital that blends advanced technology with compassionate patient care.

This full-time role emphasizes collaboration, ongoing learning, and delivering excellent client service while maintaining the highest veterinary standards.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensed to practice in PA or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Commitment to the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical care for dogs and cats, including routine and emergency cases.
  • Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Critical Care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate clients and teams, and contribute to a supportive, learning-focused hospital culture.

Full-time position: Cases. Our practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats. Diverse range of cases and emergency situations.

Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in PA, or the ability to obtain
