Job summary

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists is seeking an Urgent Care Technician to join our emergency and specialty team on Cape Cod. You will assist veterinarians, manage urgent cases, and provide compassionate, high-quality care for non-critical patients, while engaging in a dynamic hospital environment.

The role offers in-house training, opportunities to pursue CVT/RVT/LVT credentials, and a commitment to growth within a growing specialty and emergency-care hospital.

Qualifications

• Two years of general practice experience preferred.
• Strong interest in urgent care and emergency medicine.
• Comfort working swing shifts, weekends, and a holiday rotation.
• Excellent communication and team skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during patient visits, ensuring efficient and high-quality care.
• Provide triage support for stable urgent cases.
• Educate clients and discharge patients with clear guidance.
• Support non-critical urgent cases and coordinate with the emergency team.
