Job summary

Mountain View Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care team. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care, communicates changes in clinical condition to providers and the nurse manager, and supports rapid assessment and treatment in a fast-paced clinic setting.

The role requires an RN with BLS, and ACLS/PALS certification within six months of hire. At least 6 months of RN experience is required, with 2–5 years preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree with BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• 6 months of required experience; 2-5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in Urgent Care.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments and reassess per policy.
• Educate patients and families on pain management.
• Adhere to five medication rights and monitor for errors.
• Perform waived point-of-care tests when needed.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to providers and nurse manager.
• May manage inventory/ordering and cross-train in lab, reception, and radiographic duties.
