Job summary

St. Luke’s is recruiting a Flex RN (0.1 FTE) for the Quick Care Clinic in McCall, ID. The role involves triage, bedside procedures, and point-of-care testing in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year RN experience, current RN license in Idaho, and BLS certification. Schedule varies with potential to pick up shifts as staffing requires, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure in the state and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Triaging walk-in and scheduled patients to assess acuity and determine priority of care.
• Assist with procedures such as I&Ds, sutures, IVs, catheters, wound care, and medication administration.
• Perform point-of-care testing and support lab specimen collection and processing.
• Room patients and prepare for provider evaluation, including vital signs and health history.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and coordinate with providers for timely interventions.
• Support a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
• Educate patients and families and provide follow-up care instructions.
• Ensure smooth clinic operations and patient flow with staff.
