Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an Urgent Care Registered Nurse to join our collaborative team in Georgia. The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, nursing process, and safe, efficient clinical practice.

You will assess, monitor, document, administer medications, perform triage, and respond to changes in patient condition, while coordinating with physicians and other staff to optimize throughput and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia with current BLS.
• Associates degree required.
• Preferred: 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care.
• Document nursing interventions and follow physician orders in a timely manner.
• Administer medications and monitor IV infusions as ordered.
• Triage and manage symptoms via telephone and in-person.
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and efficient throughput.
