Job summary

UrgentVet Lexington is seeking relief veterinarians to cover shifts on a cloud-based urgent care team. Weekday shifts are 3–11 pm and weekend shifts 10 am–8 pm. The hospital operates 7 days a week. No surgery or dentistry is required; care focuses on common urgent cases and client experience.

You will lead with trust, manage multiple patients within timeframes, and deliver efficient care. An AVMA-accredited DVM/VMD and an active license to practice in Kentucky are required; ECFVG/PAVE accepted.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license to practice in Kentucky.
• ECFVG or PAVE accepted.

Job Overview

We are looking for relief veterinarians to cover shifts at our UrgentVet Hospital. Weekday shifts are 3-11 pm and weekend shifts 10 am-8 pm. The hospital operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year. No surgery or dentistry is required at our locations. The clinic is a cloud-based urgent care facility with an online queue system.
