Job summary

UrgentVet is seeking relief veterinarians to cover shifts at our UrgentVet Hospital in Frisco. Weekday shifts are 3-11pm and weekend shifts 10am-8pm. We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with no surgery or dentistry required at our hospitals.

Our urgent care clinic uses cloud-based EMR and an online queue system to deliver efficient care for canine and feline patients.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or ECFVG/PAve completion) required.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment.

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care, offering after‑hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single‑doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia.
