Job summary

Cleveland Road Animal Hospital in Wooster, OH, part of Mission Pet Health, seeks an Urgent Care Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join a fast-paced, high‑skill team.

You will triage urgent cases, assist with anesthesia, run labs, perform radiology, and communicate with pet owners. AVMA‑accredited program grad with a current CVT license is required; 1 year of veterinary experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program and a current state license (CVT) in good standing.
• One year of veterinary setting experience preferred; urgent care or emergency experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Triage and care for urgent and emergent patients.

What We Offer

$22–$25/hour

$1,000 Sign‑On Bonus

Full‑Time (35–40 hours/week)

What You’ll Do:

• Triage and care for urgent and emergent patients
• Surgical nursing and anesthesia monitoring
• Perform laboratory procedures and diagnostics

• Work alongside a skilled veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care

Schedule

• Full‑Time (35–40 hours/week)
• Evening and weekend shifts as part of a shared team schedule
• Schedules are communicated in advance whenever possible

Hospital Hours / Typical Shift Windows

• Monday – Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
