NextCare Urgent Care in Arizona seeks an energetic Practical Technologist in Radiology (PTR) / Medical Assistant for a fast-paced urgent care environment. You will perform radiology duties, assist with exams, manage patient vitals, and administer medications under provider direction.

Eligible candidates must have a high school diploma with radiology training and relevant certifications; EMT/AMT/CMA credentials are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Perform radiology duties per policy and state rules.
• Take patient vitals and assist with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications per policy under Provider direction.
• May collect urine for employer drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology duties within scope and policies.
• Assist provider with exams, procedures and patient care.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• May collect urine samples for testing and drug screens.
• May perform splinting and casting and conduct sports physicals.
• Notify provider of unusual patient events and safety concerns.
• Follow laboratory accreditation policies and EMR/EHR use.
