Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ARRT Radiology Technology program.
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts License within 6 months of hire.
• ARRT (R) registered.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic exams to support quality patient care
• Educate patients on radiologic procedures and safety protocols.
• Consistently perform radiation safety in accordance with ALARA
• Support the radiologist and evaluate imaging for quality and accuracy
• Assist patients with positioning for the exam
• Ensure imaging equipment is in optimum order and inform the appropriate person when repairs are needed.
