Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Completion of accredited CCMA Program.
• Completion of accredited NCT Radiology Program.
• Medication administration, I.V. Therapy or current Medical Assistant Certification.
• Must have active CCMA certification.
• Must be licensed by the State of Texas (TMB) as a non-certified technologist (NCT).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiology procedures by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities within NCT scope to aid in diagnoses and treatment of injury/disease.
• Assist medical staff as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Subject to overtime and call back as needed.
