Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered; state license required to practice.
• BLS certification and ability to work with patient data confidentially.
• Strong data entry, computer, and keyboard skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication; patient-facing skills.
• Proficiency with Windows applications and role-specific software.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for visit, document registration, and answer questions.
• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy before imaging.
• Independently operate radiology equipment and RIS to complete studies.
• Place tubes, catheters, or contrast as required by protocol.
• Review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Perform routine quality control and address issues as needed.
• Assist in department operations, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Maintain patient privacy and comply with regulatory standards.
