MASC Medical Recruitment Firm is partnering with a Gainesville practice to recruit a Board-Certified Urgent Care or Emergency Physician for a full-time position. Schedule is Mon–Fri 8am–8pm with weekend shifts 10am–4pm; outpatient-focused, highly collaborative, with competitive compensation.

Salary range is $450,000–$500,000 per year. Comprehensive support staff and equipment, strong referral base and steady case volume are offered.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine training.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain).

Responsabilités

• Learn and utilize EMR and bedside technology.
• Prescribe and administer vaccinations.
• Provide preventive care and health guidance.
• Perform surgical procedures as competency allows.
• Refer to primary care or specialists when needed.
• Document visits with medical history, exam, diagnoses and plan.
• Follow-up on progress in high-risk or emergency cases.

About the Opportunity:

A well-established practice in Gainesville is seeking a Board-Certified Urgent Care or Emergency Physician (preferred) to join its growing team. This is a full-time position offering procedural autonomy, a collaborative work environment, and competitive compensation.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday (8am - 8pm) Weekends (10am - 4pm) Outpatient-focused
• Salary range: $450,000 - $500,000

Core Responsibilities:

• Be willing to learn and utilize EMR and tablet/laptop technology at the bedside.
• Prescribe and administer vaccinations to immunize patients from communicable diseases.
• Promote health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.
• Perform surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency.
• Refer patients to primary care physicians or medical specialists for consultation services when necessary for the well-being of the patients.
• Document the patients’ visits including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and plan of action.
• Follow-up with patients regarding progress in high risk or emergency cases. Follow-up daily on laboratory tests and X-Rays
