Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Valid Texas Medical License and Board Certification.
• BLS certification and unrestricted DEA license.
• DOT certification within 2 months of hire is preferred.
• Emergency/urgent care experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and episodic care to patients independently and with the clinical team.
• Perform complete physical exams and assessments across urgent, emergent, and non-urgent presentations.
• Order tests and procedures to augment findings and document differential diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications and explain correct usage to patients.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards according to regulations.
• Supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
