Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Physician with urgent care or emergency medicine experience to join our diverse community of providers. You will treat both adult and pediatric patients in a welcoming, patient‑centered environment.

We are considering fulltime, part-time or PRN schedules. The role involves managing acute conditions, minor procedures, and collaborating with a wide care network to ensure exceptional patient experiences.

Qualifications

• One year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult populations (all ages) required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care and/or emergency medicine services to adult and pediatric patients.
• Assess and manage acute episodic conditions, coordinating with specialists when needed.
• Deliver excellent patient experience and educate patients and families as appropriate.

We have an opportunity for a Physician with urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of San Francisco providers.

We are considering fulltime, part-time or per diem (PRN) schedules.

You would provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.

It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting preferred.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages) required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
