Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in San Francisco is seeking a Physician with urgent care or emergency medicine experience to treat both adult and pediatric patients. We are considering fulltime, part-time or per diem (PRN) schedules.

You will provide a wide range of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions and participate in a collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional patient experiences. Residents welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• One year of fulltime Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients (all ages) required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), and reading EKGs/X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care and emergency medicine services.
• Treat both pediatric and adult patients.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, casting, splinting).
• Read EKGs and X-rays to guide care.
• Direct patients to emergency department when advanced care is needed.

We have an opportunity for a Physician with urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients, to join our welcoming and diverse community of San Francisco providers.

We are considering fulltime, part-time or per diem (PRN) schedules.

You would provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.

It is essential to have excellent assessment skills in order to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary while going above and beyond to deliver an unparalleled patient experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting preferred.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages) required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Board Certified/Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics.
