Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks an urgent care physician for locum Tenens coverage in Missouri. The provider will join a fast-paced outpatient setting, seeing adults and pediatrics, and perform minor procedures with support from MAs and radiology staff.

The role requires MO license, BLS, and prior experience interpreting X-rays and EKGs. Availability for weekdays and weekends with 12-hour shifts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible/within 5 years of residency in family medicine, emergency medicine, or med-peds.
• Active Missouri license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 50 patient encounters in the last 12 months; able to perform minor procedures and read X-rays/EKGs.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive urgent care services in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Perform minor procedures (suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, casting).
• Interpret X-rays and EKGs to diagnose/manage acute conditions.
• Collaborate with medical assistants, scribes, and radiology techs to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Commit to at least 6 shifts per month, including some weekend and 12-hour shift availability.
