Job summary

ACEP Now is seeking a board-certified physician in Alabama to provide high-quality care across a wide range of patient conditions. Candidates need 3+ years of post-residency experience in urgent or primary care and an active medical license. Responsibilities include patient assessments, diagnoses, and sharing medical knowledge with both patients and peers.

This position is structured for modified full-time at 32 hours per week, offering a competitive average salary of $180,000/year alongside productivity incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post residency experience in a high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care setting.
• Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification in Family Medicine or dual boarded Internal Medicine + Pediatrics.
• Eligible for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC).

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations.
• Deliver high quality patient care while maintaining safety.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
