NorthBay Health in Northern California is seeking a Board-Certified, licensed Urgent Care Physician to join our network. Outpatient-only role with weekday and weekend shifts, providing fast, compassionate care in a collaborative team setting.

The physician will supervise APPs, order diagnostics, treat acute conditions, and participate in hospital committees. Excellent communication and strong clinical skills are essential for delivering high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Board-certification in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• CA license to practice medicine
• Urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess urgent care needs and determine treatment plans
• Recommend and order diagnostic tests to evaluate illnesses and injuries
• Monitor lab results and medication adherence
• Prescribe treatments, therapies, medications, and vaccines as needed
• Educate patients and families on procedures, results, and options
• Refer patients to specialists when needed
• Participate in hospital committees and initiatives
• Supervise APPs to enhance patient care
