Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Per Diem in Winston-Salem area

Join our dynamic team at Novant Health – GoHealth! We are seeking experienced Per Diem Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to work in our urgent care centers in Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities and Highlights

• Manage a variety of clinical cases with complex concerns, engaging in shared decision-making and problem-solving.
• Provide patient care in well-equipped, state-of-the-art centers with advanced technology such as EPIC EMR, POC testing, and On-site X-ray.
• Work in a clean, quiet, and well-maintained healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants as part of a clinical team.
• Extended hours centers offer a shift differential after 8 pm.

Minimum Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine required.
• Proficiency with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients aged 6 months and older in an acute care setting.
• Physicians must be board-certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds.
