We are seeking experienced Per Diem Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Novant-GoHealth Urgent Care team in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities and Highlights

• Manage clinical cases with complexity and a variety of concerns, engaging in shared decision-making and problem-solving.
• See patients at regular intervals, with scheduling promoting wellness, efficiency, and safety.
• Utilize state-of-the-art technology, including an integrated EPIC EMR, POC testing, and On-site X-ray to maximize efficiency and success.
• Work in a clean, quiet, well-maintained healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Extended hours centers offer shift differentials after 8 PM.

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of full-time experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine required.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and interpreting EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients aged 6 months and up in an acute care setting.
• Physicians must be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med-Peds.
